Specialized Experience for the GS-13: Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: – Experience working as a member of a team in pursuit of program and project objectives; AND – Experience in working projects related to technologies developed from concept to integration; AND – Experience in following comprehensive test plans, subsequent analysis and interpretation of results; AND – Experience evaluating, presenting information in a concise, articulate, persuasive, and knowledgeable fashion in both written and oral form, to technical and non-technical audiences. Specialized Experience for the GS-12: Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: – Experience working as a member of a team in pursuit of program and project objectives; AND – Experience in working in projects related to technologies developed from concept to integration; AND – Experience in following comprehensive test plans, and subsequent analysis and interpretation of results. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Research Analysis Division. As a Physical Scientist (Senior R&D Analyst), you will be a technical subject matter expert in one or more fields supporting banknote production and or technology (e.g., chemical, and physical analysis of materials such as inks, optically variable materials/features, substrates, and printing testing).
