Military Grades: E2 through E7 Compatible Military Assignments: 3P051/3P071 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have the general experience gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work to do the following tasks: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have experience equivalent to the GS 07 level with knowledge of DoD and AF security regulations, instructions, practices, principles, and procedures including force protection, integrated base defense, anti-terrorism, and physical security. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of program related issues and problems. Knowledge of safety, security, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of police dispatch and alarm monitor functions. Must have at least 24-months experience, education, or training in planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling installation and law enforcement activities. The incumbent must have experience providing training in areas related to this position and analyzing reports of investigations and maintaining security records Incumbent must be qualified in the use of required weapons. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position
