CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Military Sealift Command - Department of the Navy

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience exercising the full scope of supervisory responsibilities, including planning, assigning, developing, and evaluating subordinate performance. Experience managing all aspects of personnel assigned to various contracts. Experience supervising and implementing a wide range of program contracts, alongside administration and procurement tasks. Experience analyzing complex functions to enhance operational efficiency. Experience documenting contract performance and executing close-out procedures. Experience managing negotiations for change orders related to specifications, funding, and contract terminations. Experience interpreting and applying legal requirements to contracts, supplies, services, and ship maintenance and repairs. You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Military Sealift Command (MSC), Directorate, Maritime Operations, Contracts and Business Management Department (N10), Chartering Support Division (N103) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
