To qualify for this position at the GS-11 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) which includes, but is not limited to: interpreting and implementing federal, state, agency, and/or local housing policies; performing broad management planning, scheduling and coordination of resources for effective and efficient operation and use of housing facilities; negotiating issues with counterparts in other divisions, agencies, community organizations, and with housing occupants; and developing local plans, directives, and other administrative guides related to housing projects or other facilities. You must include hours per week worked on your resume. -OR- EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. You must include transcripts. -OR- Successful completion of a combination of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level or equivalent and graduate level education which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. Only credits beyond the second year (36 semester hours or equivalent) may be used towards this combination. You must include transcripts and hours worked per week on your resume. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. CTAP/ICTAP Statement: Current surplus and current or former displaced Federal individuals who have special priority selection rights under the Agency Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) must be well qualified for the position to receive consideration for special priority selection. This position is located in Yosemite National Park, in the Division of Business Management and serves as the Housing Officer for the Branch of Housing Management for Yosemite National Park, duty stationed in Mariposa, CA. The position is responsible for the administrative management of approximately 311 housing units and is a Code 4 Supervisor (supervisory duties less than 25 percent of the time).
