If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service performing all of the following: Evaluating policies and implementing programs related to the operation and maintenance of medium size (e.g. 500K sq ft), multi-level, commercial buildings (or equivalent non-housing high rise building) and leased space Analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of building operations, automated systems, and mechanical equipment Establishing and maintaining customer satisfaction programs that include feedback mechanisms used to evaluate the effectiveness of services provided; and Managing or monitoring real property budgetary and financial data.
As a Building Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for client agency personnel in designated General Services Administration (GSA) owned or leased buildings. We are currently filling ONE vacancy in our New Jersey Field Office (2PSEN) located in Newark, NJ. Additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
