SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

Military Grades: E-8 thru O-3 or W-1 thru W-5 1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. 2. You will be immediately disqualified if you fail to include specialized experience in your resume. Must have at least 36 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following: 1. Experience diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and modifying more complex vehicles, equipment, and more complicated systems. 2. Experience which has provided a thorough knowledge of diagnostic equipment. 3. Experience applying independent judgment in determining methods and techniques required to solve unusually complex maintenance and repair problems. 4. Experienced in testing, inspecting, and evaluating the work performed on vehicles, equipment and systems. 5. Experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. 6. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. 7. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. 8. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. 9. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations.
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1295000 and is part of the CO FMS 9, National Guard. The purpose of this position is to provide overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities and functions.
