Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Leading process implementations from inception to final delivery utilizing project management skills, task management, communication, Microsoft programs/tools and the integration of assignments; Adhering to and navigating export control laws and requirements for any shipment, transfer, or transmission of an item (i.e. hardware, software, technology, or technical information) out of the United States, to a foreign national or a representative of a foreign government, or company; Collaborating with technical representatives, center administrators, clients, and partners to ensure mutual understanding and completion of integrated assignments. The Lead Engineering Export Control Representative leads the Engineering Export Control Office, providing expert guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with federal export control regulations and agency policies. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the Engineering Directorate on all export control matters, including expedited requests. This position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of export control compliance within the Engineering Directorate.
