For the FV-H level: You must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-5/9 levels OR an education substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, in an accredited college or university OR a combination of education and experience that qualifies for this position. Specialized experience is that which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience may include, but are not limited to: Experience in participating in briefings, interpreting security requirements and preparing reports. Experience conducting assessments, inspections and/or evaluations of programs and facilities. Experience evaluating existing security practices and making recommendations based on identified deficiencies. Experience with providing information and training regarding security measures designed to safeguard personnel; prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities and documents; and safeguard them against espionage, sabotage and theft. Experience in providing information and training regarding security measures designed to safeguard personnel; prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities and documents; and safeguard them against espionage, sabotage and theft. This position is located in the Office of Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH), and may be assigned to any of the organizations within the Office of Infrastructure Protection. This position supports ASH in accomplishing mission-critical responsibilities and key agency goals and objectives in ensuring the protection of FAA facilities, national security information and/or secure telecommunications.
