Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Planning difficult and complex assignments by implementing and applying new techniques and technologies, including installation, operation, and maintenance of automated communications systems and other desktop technologies. Coordinating Information Technology (IT) life cycle support with the organizations program managers, project managers, developers, technical staff, and engineers. Diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving problems relating to Information Technology (IT) systems, software/hardware, and develop solutions for integration/interoperability issues. Conducting interviews with users to generate requirements for new or modified Information Technology (IT) systems, services, software, and hardware. You will serve as Senior System Administrator at the GG-13 grade level assigned to the Hopper Global Communications Center (GCC), Telecommunications Services Division performing specialized and technical information technology (IT) services and responsibilities.
