Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 12-grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1. Coordinating and participating in the technical aspects of MK 7 Mod 3 and Mk 7 Mod 4 shipboard recovery equipment programs and projects through independently resolving engineering problems and determining feasibility of projects. 2. Leading complex engineering investigations to analyze the changes and deviations to MK 7 recovery equipment mechanical and hydraulic components including the arresting engines, drive system, deck gear, and tooling. 3. Maximizing resources through performing tradeoff studies, developing trouble shooting approaches, and continuously improving processes and standard operating procedures. 4. Independently reviewing, evaluating, and providing recommendations regarding all proposed modifications to existing MK 7 recovery systems for overall improvements. 5. Reviewing MK 7 recovery equipment operational, test, and evaluation reports for overall improvements, reliability, and operational safety. 6. Providing commodity expertise to support product development and procurement actions for MK 7 recovery equipment. 7. Representing NAWCAD and NAVAIR at high level conferences/meetings and providing technical information.
