Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Plan, directs schedules and coordinate work operations and activities of the personnel in the Directorate of Emergency Services. Headquarters Section. (2) Develops and monitors the strategic plan for the Directorate. (3) Serve as an officer on the Incident Command Team in accordance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Incident Management System and the Incident Command System structure during major incident response. (4) Reviews Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss manager to ensure controls are established and followed IAW AR 735-5 and management controls. (5) Serve as the authority on business management practices to include budget, manpower, employee training, and information technology. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Oral Communication Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
