SUPERVISORY LOAN SPECIALIST (COMMERCIAL)

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. Time In Grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. GS-13 level: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Experience planning, directing, coordinating, executing, and evaluating program activities related to the business, commercial and/or cooperative development loan, grant, and/or loan guarantee programs (i.e., processing loans and grants and servicing existing borrowers). Experience providing policy updates training in business program law, regulation, credit counseling, customer service, loan processing and/or grant processing through training sessions and development of procedures. Experience establishing priorities, evaluating performance, and/or advising employees on administrative and work-related matters. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-13 level. Qualifications are based upon meeting specialized experience only. Education cannot be used to qualify for this position.
This position is located in a Wisconsin State Office in USDA, Rural Development (RD). The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Loan Specialist (Commercial), Community Program Staff. This position is neither remote nor virtual. The employee will be expected to report in person to the assigned duty location.
