Assignments are based on the functions and tasks performed in the organization to which you are assigned, and ideally related to your academic and career goals. This announcement is open to applicants who meet the definition of a “Student” and are in good academic standing as defined in the “Requirements” section of this ANNC. Summer Internship appointment, applicants must meet the GPA requirement of at least 2.85 and the definition of a “Student” by the closing date of this announcement and throughout the duration of their appointment. Student – Is defined as an individual who has been accepted for enrollment or enrolled and seeking a 4-year degree (at least) at a qualifying educational institution, on a full or half-time basis (as defined by the institution in which the student is enrolled). To qualify for the GS-0344-04 series, you must have successfully completed of two full academic years of post-high school study or have an associate’s degree. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of general experience. General experience must demonstrate the following: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates your ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
