CIVIL ENGINEER (STRUCTURAL)

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical advice and guidance to client staff engineers on design support of architectural and engineering contracts; 2) Performing field investigations to verify and document existing structural conditions as a basis for the design of facility projects while ensuring projects are completed in accordance with specifications, criteria, policy, industry codes and standards; 3) Performing structural engineering expertise for designs on major projects for customers; 4) Managing structural engineering facilities projects with adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards; 5) Developing complex designs and analyses utilizing advanced structural engineering software; and 6) Providing structural engineering support to active construction projects.
