To qualify for this FV-I (FG/GS-13) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience evaluating supply storage, receipt, distribution, inspection and control actions. Experience performing leadership functions for projects, programs, studies or other work activities while tasked with evaluating the quality of supply chain services delivered by the branch. Experience leading the work of subordinate employees at the organizational unit level. Applicants should include examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History. AND In addition to the Minimum Qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor for this position. This means well qualified candidates will have demonstrated the following: Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well-Qualified candidates must demonstrate a knowledge of providing oversight to processes related to the inspection and receipt of material and a knowledge of planning and conducting studies and analysis in order to streamline processes and improve support. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the managers individual performance, and available funding. This position serves as a Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC) Manager in the Distribution Group.
