You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Managing all aspects of producing visual information for print and online uses, including the design, creation, and preparation of graphic art, charts, page layouts, designs, and related content; AND Planning and coordinating the preparation and use of photographs, illustrations, and various kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means; AND Applying graphic design and print electronic publishing processes using current versions of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) applications; AND Communicating and interacting; both orally and in writing with various levels of associates. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin,Office of Audit. As a Visual Information Specialist, you will manage and oversee visual information projects, providing design, production, and consultation services. These projects will support TIGTAs Office of Audit and activities through visual means, including print and online dashboarding.
