Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Processing passport and VISA applications. Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting the Foreign Clearance Guide and documents submitted to determine if applicants are eligible to apply for a special issuance passport or VISA. Experience determining what type of passport is authorized for VISA entry requirements for foreign countries. Utilizing the Foreign Clearance Guide and the Passport Matters website in reviewing the application for correctness and completion; and ensuring all required documents, passports, and photos, are provided by applicants. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

About the Position: Serves as first line supervisor and primary point of contact and subject matter expert on administrative matters at Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Headquarters (HQ) within the G1, Passport Services Division (PSD).
