You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Subject matter expert to coordinate applicable efforts and programs to resolve problems that affect organizations across the Department of Defense and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Contributing to increased operational effectiveness and resource efficiencies by leveraging existing Joint and Mission Partner exercise venues, planned laboratory experiments and ongoing assessment studies to validate evolving information sharing capability solutions. Advising on Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4), Intelligence integration and interoperability requirements related to joint and coalition Command and Control (C2) capabilities and information sharing systems. Coordinating directly with the Office Secretary Defense Staff, Joint Staff, Service, Agency, Combatant Commanders, and Allied decision makers regarding oversight of C4/Cyber time sensitive Warfighter C2 and information sharing integration and interoperability of CCMD and Allied plans, policies and programs. Experience with Capability Gap Analysis. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The incumbent serves as an advisor for integration and interoperability requirements and issues related to joint and coalition command and control (C2) capabilities, information sharing systems and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) processes and procedures across a myriad of lines of effort.
