Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT, NF-01: This is an entry level position therefore no minimum qualifications are required. HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT, NF-02: Experience performing clerical work and providing customer service to internal and external customers; applying rules, regulations, and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel).
This position will be assigned to the NAF Human Resources Office on Eielson AFB, Alaska. Work schedule is normally Monday through Friday, day shift, with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. This may be subject to change. Occasional weekend work for special events. Occasional travel required on and off base for external hiring events and other tasks such as dropping off mail, meeting with NAF employees, etc.
