In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent grade level) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist planning, managing and executing energetic material or chemical compound manufacturing projects to develop and assess chemical engineering processes and procedures to support the advancement of explosive ordnance technology. You will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST (OPERATIONAL PROCESS ASSURANCE LEAD) in the PRODUCT & PROCESS SCALE-UP & MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY DIVISION (M4) within the ENERGETICS MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT (M) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
