Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-01 grade level in the Federal service which includes conducting extensive and thorough legal research using Federal Law and regulation, and administrative publications; maintain records for all financial disclosure filers and maintain accurate database to ensure timely filing of mandatory ethics reports to include maintaining automated suspense files; provide paralegal support to attorneys and investigating officers for various administrative investigations; and administer the legal office’s support mission related to administrative investigations including commander’s inquiries and support the Chief Counsel for Freedom of Information Act requests. OR Education: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administrative Law Attention to Detail Manages and Organizes Information This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-02 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-05 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-11 grade step 10 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-02 Logistics Management Specialist is $40,142 to $95,665 including locality at the rate of 18.49%. Management will set the selectee’s pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position
