To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include: Experience in the U.S. Maritime Industry working with vessel or company safety management system or quality management systems. Experience in the U.S. Maritime Industry as an auditor, inspector or compliance specialist working with a vessel or company safety management system or quality management system, with knowledge of compliance procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance. Experience communicating with officials from public and private sector organizations and varying interest stakeholders, building consensus to represent or support representatives of an organization to accomplish the organizations goals. To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include: Experience in the U.S. Maritime Industry in a management-level role working with vessel or company safety management systems or quality management systems. Experience in the U.S. Maritime Industry as an auditor, inspector or compliance manager working with a vessel or company safety management system or quality management system with knowledge of compliance procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance. Experience leading communications with officials from public and private sector organizations and varying interest stakeholders, building consensus to represent or support representatives of an organization to accomplish the organizations goals.
