You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 or NB-IV band level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Providing oversight of event planning activities and conferences which may include scheduling events; planning menus; and advising on audiovisual equipment. AND Utilizing registration websites and conference booking systems to plan and monitor conferences and meetings. AND Providing recommendations for improvements to conference and event policies and procedures. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. As a Conference Management Specialist, you will serve as a program specialist while providing specialized conference, and event planning for the OCC senior management in headquarters, district and field offices. This position is located in Administrative Operations located in Washington, D.C.
