PROGRAM ANALYST

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Developing, implementing and executing Security Cooperation policies, processes, and procedures; Providing integrated solutions on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Building Partner Capacity programs; Tracking United States Government-funded cases in support of global train and equip activities; and Applying knowledge of financial management, National Defense Strategy, legislative processes, security cooperation legal authorities, policy processes, and program management skills. You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Assisting in developing and implementing executing Security Cooperation (SC) policies, processes, and procedures; Providing integrated solutions for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Building Partnership Capacity (BPC) programs; Administering Capacity Building programs regarding military training and exercises; Reviewing financial statements and reporting on BPC programs; and Monitoring FMS cases and BPC programs and activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
