You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). ) 1) Interpreting security policies and regulations to develop and implement a security program; 2) Performing qualitative and quantitative studies to develop strategies for enhancing the efficiencies and effectiveness of the security programs; 3) Coordinating security requirements for multiple programs within established thresholds; and 4) Enforcing all applicable security program policies, rules, and guidelines. Term Appointment NTE 5 Years can be made permanent – Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 5 years. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
