This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. For the GS-5:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-4 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Locating information and materials in a library collection by using an automated library management system; 2) Explaining circulation policies and procedures to library patrons; 3) Shelving books and locating misfiled materials; and 4) Assisting patrons with all user-access equipment. For the GS-4:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
