Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:GS-05: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Specialized experience is experience that is related to the work of this position and has provided you with the knowledges, skills and abilities required for successful job performance. To be qualifying, your experience must be sufficient to demonstrate knowledge of applicable program policies and procedures to assist in identifying potential and actual problems, probable causes, research specific issues, gather pertinent statistics or information, and reports findings. For example, preparing memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts; Evaluating redundancy or systematic problems; and reviewing timeliness and effectiveness of actions. Knowledge of work functions of assigned area and familiarity with objectives to identify problems and gather information. OR A Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of education above high school in any field of study from an accredited college or university. OR A combination of qualifying graduate education and experience equivalent to that described above. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-06: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience that is related to the work of this position and has provided you with the knowledges, skills and abilities required for successful job performance. To be qualifying, your experience must be sufficient to demonstrate knowledge of applicable program policies and procedures to analyze and evaluate information, interpret guidance, draw conclusions, and coordinate studies or projects. For example, preparing memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts; Evaluating redundancy or systematic problems; and reviewing timeliness and effectiveness of actions. Knowledge of work functions of assigned area and familiarity with objectives to identify problems and gather information; Experience performing individual management or program analysis clerical or technical assignments to provide effective management/program support. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience that is related to the work of this position and has provided you with the knowledges, skills and abilities required for successful job performance. To be qualifying, your experience must be sufficient to demonstrate extensive knowledge of applicable program policies and procedures to analyze and evaluate information, interpret guidance, draw conclusions, and coordinate studies or projects. For example, preparing memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts; Evaluating redundancy or systematic problems; and Reviewing timeliness and effectiveness of actions. Thorough knowledge of work functions of assigned area and familiarity with objectives to identify problems and gather information; Experience performing individual management or program analysis clerical or technical assignments to provide effective management/program support.
