SECURITY SPECIALIST

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing security plans and procedures for a security program (such as Personnel, Information, or Industrial) to include reviewing security policies and assessing compliance in order to mitigate risk and vulnerabilities. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting a security program by conducting security inspections to identify classification levels, process clearance requests, and ensure compliance with protection requirements for an organization.
