Electrician (Power System)

This is a journey-level Electrician (Power System) position and is an occupation for which a 4-year (8,000 hour) apprenticeship program has been established between the Bureau of Reclamation, UC Region, and the Department of Labor. Applicants should have completed a formal apprentice program directly related to industrial machinery and equipment; or possess journey-level electrician experience supplemented by formal training and college level/technical course work (military or technical trade schools) or extensive on-the-job training which demonstrates knowledge of the application of electrical practices required for troubleshooting, assembling, maintaining, installing, adjusting and repairing heavy industrial electrical equipment, including power, distribution, and power generation machinery and equipment. In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the general work experience requirement – this information must be clearly supported in the resume.
