To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience include: experience with emergency management planning and coordination efforts, experience with Federal emergency management structure, the National Response Plan and the role of DOT within it. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. Serves as the Regional Emergency Transportation Representative (RETREP) for the US Department of Transportation (DOT) Region (as designated in the National Response Plan by DHS-FEMA/DOT). The RETREP provides support to and represents the DOT by assisting Federal, State, Tribal and local government entities voluntary and nongovernmental organizations, and the private sector in the management of transportation systems and infrastructure during domestic threats or in response to incidents.
