NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as developing and/or implementing physical security procedures, policies, guidance, or regulations; and performing the duties of a Contract Officer’s Representative. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of the Agency’s physical security policies, procedures, and processes. Skill in policy analysis and development. Skill in written communication. Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships. Skill in contract management. Skill in resource management. Ability to provide multifaceted advice on ad-hoc basis. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. This position is in the Office of Research and Development (ORD), Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure, Great Lakes Toxicology and Ecology Division, Great Lakes Toxicology and Ecology Division Program Operations Staff.
