Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Power Plant Electrician A without more than normal supervision.: Perform the most difficult and complex testing, preventative maintenance, service, repair and overhaul on electrical equipment for hydroelectric powerhouses and dams. I am skilled in these functions. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence. – Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The position Without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Use Electrical Drawings Knowledge of Electrical Equipment Trouble shooting (electrical) WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is normally performed inside cramped positions in damp and slippery areas. Employee is subject to falls from ladders and is in danger of electrocution while working on high-voltage equipment. Safe work practices are an integral part of this position. Incumbent is required to know, comply with, and promote prescribed safety rules and regulations.
