MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (DEPUTY SIG CHIEF)

Position may be filled as a term appointment Not-To-Exceed (2) years. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Evaluating strategies to improve projects, transformation plans, and activities. 2. Developing strategic initiatives, engagements, and communication plans to support missions, organizations, and policies. 3. Assessing transformation plans and activities to determine impact on organizations and resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). About the Position: Serves as consultant and advisor to the Office of the Chief of Chaplains (OCCH) SIG Chief and serves as the SIG Chiefs representative to OCCH on a wide variety of issues related to the organization and managerial policies, theories, practices and procedures governing religious support programs.
