INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

For the GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional scientist or engineer. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing environmental compliance strategies to effectively identify and resolve environmental concerns; 2) Utilizing knowledge of guide specifications, policies, industry codes, standards, and best practices related to environmental compliance issues; 3) Demonstrating an understanding of local, state, and federal laws, codes, and other statutory requirements affecting environmental issues; and 4) Supporting environmental audits and regulatory inspections with development and implementation of corrective actions. For the GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional scientist or engineer. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) supporting environmental programs by assisting in preparing and/or reviewing documents (e.g., regulations, reports); 2) Demonstrating knowledge and/or Education in local, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations impacting environmental issues; 3) Reviewing, analyzing, and compiling environmental data to prepare reports; And 4) Preparing written documents, correspondence, spreadsheets/graphs, and PowerPoint presentations.
