Three years progressive experience that demonstrates a knowledge of accounting ability to apply this knowledge in various work operations. Ability to write clear, concise written reports. Ability to gather, assemble, consolidate and analyze facts to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Ability to edit documents for formatting, grammatical and spelling errors. Ability to format documents utilizing the guidelines in the Navy Correspondence Manual is preferred. Must possess a valid state driver¿s license. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the qualifications above. This is a ¿covered position¿ for the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment of the Gun Control Act for the Department of the Navy civilian personnel. Since the incumbent may come in contact with firearms, or ammunition in this position, they will need to complete a DD Form 2760 certifying whether or not they have ever obtained a ¿qualifying conviction¿ for a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence. All covered employees have a continuing obligation to notify their supervisors through use of the DD Form 2760 if they obtain a qualifying conviction. This position has been designated as Noncritical Sensitive and therefore requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of the security investigation.
