In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Modifying standard practices and adapting equipment or techniques to solve a variety of problems of electrical utilities; 2) Applying standard practices of related engineering disciplines to utilities engineering design; 3) Planning, budgeting, and monitoring large scale utility construction projects to ensure compliance with objectives, standards, and requirements; 4) Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and engineering drawings to prepare reports utilizing software (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint); and 5) Providing technical background training in electric utilities/power concepts to include utility monitoring systems; such as DCADA or utility controls.
