You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-11 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-09 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must include: Providing leadership to teams/units to ensure effective and efficient work methods; AND Converting analog textual records, photographs, maps, and/or microforms into digital formats; AND Applying regulations, policies or procedures to accomplish work assignments. OR EDUCATION: You may substitute a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. NOTE: Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F): For the GS-11, you must have been at the GS-09 level for 52 weeks.
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, William J. Clinton Presidential Library. The Supervisory Digital Imaging Specialist serves as a supervisor for the digitization team. The Incumbent provides services to all offices of the Library and external customers as well; including the production of preservation and/or access copies of textual materials, graphic materials, bound records and occasionally photographs and/or 3-d objects.
