Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of a full range of database management concepts, operations, principles, methodologies, and approaches used in designing, developing, testing, implementing, managing, and maintaining database systems that meet organizational needs. Knowledge of system software and systems development life cycles including systems documentation, design development, configuration management, cost analysis, data administration, systems integration, and testing. Must have 3 years of relevant, full-time work experience. Every 2 years of IT related education may be substituted for 1 year of work experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test. Must have CompTIA Security+ or other appropriate IA certification. Must obtain and maintain DoD 8570-M requirements within 6 months of hire. Failure to maintain a security clearance and the proper IA certification can result in removal from this position. About the position: This position will be assigned to the NAF IT Department on JBER, AK . This is a regular Full-Time Position. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
