You must meet the qualification requirements by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on the closing date of the announcement. You must be an active member in good standing of a bar of a state or territory in any United States jurisdiction. To qualify for the Attorney Advisor, PA-II level, you must have a minimum of three years post J.D. experience as a practicing attorney which demonstrates: experience with federal personnel law, employment law or labor law and practice; excellent writing and analytical skills; strong legal research skills; and the ability to complete assignments with short deadlines. To qualify for the Attorney Advisor, PA-III level, you must have a minimum of four years post J.D. experience as a practicing attorney which demonstrates: experience with federal personnel law, employment law or labor law and practice; excellent writing and analytical skills; strong legal research skills; and the ability to complete assignments with short deadlines. This position will be filled at either the PA-II or PA-III level.
The PAB is seeking an experienced Attorney to provide legal advice to Personnel Appeals Board members, the Executive Director, and the Solicitor on issues involving but not limited to federal personnel law, equal employment opportunity law, prohibited personnel practices, labor-management relations law, administrative law, and evidence or civil procedure.
