GS-9: 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master’s degree or master’s or equivalent graduate degree or1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-7 Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience examples: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: GS-09: Assist with the design of engineering projects or healthcare facility improvements; participate in the development of procedures, guidelines, operational and preventative maintenance activities designed to improve Facilities Management Programs. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
