INTERDISCIPLINARY SOCIAL WORKER (FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM)

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing social/human services in accordance with state, federal and municipal human service laws, programs, polices and directives; 2) Counseling and interviewing clients to identify concerns and determine appropriate referral service/options; 3) Working with community social service delivery systems; 4) Applying organizational and management techniques to direct complex social services programs; 5) Conducting domestic abuse (child and spouse) assessments and complete documentation for multidisciplinary (medical, legal, community agencies); 6) Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws governing mandated reporting of child and spouse abuse; 7) Maintaining case records, treatment plans, and statistics in accordance with state policy in order to ensure proper treatment and follow-up is provided.
