For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here. The GS-13 salary range starts at $111,234 for Portland, OR; $115,793 for Seattle or Tacoma, WA per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates expert knowledge of procedures and practices concerning maintenance of property facilities, utility systems, buildings and equipment; mastery of facility administration/buildings management operations and the technical aspects of various problems sufficient to determine appropriate facility maintenance procedures; and comprehensive knowledge of operating and maintenance systems including chillers, boilers (low and high-pressure), air handlers, air-filtration systems, energy management systems (EMS), etc.
As a Equipment and Facilities Specialist, you will provide expert insight, guidance and technical assessments in the development, application and interpretation of varied system and equipment maintenance and operations for Region 10, Northwest/Arctic Region. Location of position: GSA, PBS, Northwest/Arctic Region, Facilities Management Division We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
