HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Military Grades: Enlisted (E4 – E7), Warrant Officer (WO1 to CW4), or Officer (CPT to MAJ) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of of the occupational series and grade. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience, education, or training which provided a working knowledge of missions, organizations, programs and requirements of health care delivery systems. Experience in analyzing and recommending solutions to complicated problems. Experience in developing and implementing various policies and procedures used in the state medical programs. Experience involving various administrative areas such as budget, personnel and public relations within a medical activity. Knowledge is mandatory in general clerical procedures; medical terminology, regulations, and directives; medical ethics; health records administration; principles of coding; and anatomy and physiology.
