Space Management Specialist – DE

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications and/or education for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. Specialized Experience – Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the private sector leading, planning, communicating and seeing to the creation and delivery of interior architectural design layouts using a computer aided design and drafting (CADD) software such as AutoCAD. Examples include: preparing floorplans, design and furniture specifications with cost estimates; conducting contract oversight; managing real property data; tracking and reviewing space utilization in a computer-aided facility management (CAFM) system or an integrated workplace management system (IWMS) such as FM Interact Systems; conducting business case analysis; managing all requirements for systems furniture, signage and related furnishings; and planning, organizing or forecasting for leases, space, and construction projects. WRITING SAMPLE (REQUIRED): Each applicant must submit an original sample of their unedited presentation delivered to an agency or organization. The presentation should be Space Management or Building Management processes and procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
