To qualify for a General Investigator at the GS-14 level, you must meet the following requirements: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-14: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Planning and conducting investigations and oversight reviews of programs and management, reporting findings in investigative reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations for improvement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Only experience obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered. Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level) by the vacancy closing date. You must submit a copy of your last performance appraisal and most recent SF-50 with your application package.
