Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in conducting laboratory analyses ranging from conventional wet bench chemistry (e.g. gravimetric, titrimetric, electrometric, and colorimetric methods) to complex methods using major instruments such as spectrometers or X-ray fluorescence. Experience in conducting analyses in materials testing (e.g. hardness, acid etching, alloy identification). Experience in utilizing chemical analytical process including preliminary checks, sample preparation, reduction of raw data to reportable values, evaluation of data quality, and preparation of formal technical customer reports.
