What are we looking for? Certification in group exercise is required from an accredited organization American Council on Exercise (ACE), Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA), and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). CPR and First Aid certification is required, or ability to acquire CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment. Ability to develop, modify, and implement fitness classes in two or more training modalities is required (e.g., basic strength training, choreographed strength training, kickboxing, suspension training, circuit training, dance, yoga, cycle, muscle recovery, aquatic exercise, and myofascial release). Ability to teach indoor and outdoor classes.
