
Financial Accounts Technician (Teller)

In order to qualify for this position applicant must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service. Specific qualifying specialized experience for this position (which should be documented on your resume) is: experience making adjustments to expense reports; performing cashier duties such as receiving cash and processing payments; and processing electronic funds transactions. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary with some carrying of computer reports, boxes and files. In addition, there is a high level of stress due to demanding deadlines and the need for a high degree of accuracy, as well as the continuous need for multi-tasking. Some walking is required between buildings.
