Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying organizational theory and techniques of analysis and evaluation to make recommendations on substantive operating programs; Interpreting policies, regulations, directives and instructions governing the work of an environmental organization in order to provide alternative recommendations, advice, and guidance; Applying complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques to conduct studies of work processes in various organizations to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems in organizational structure, staffing, administrative procedures, work processes or workload distribution. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
