POSITIVE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: This position has a Positive Education Requirement. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience: Utilizing principles and concepts and methodologies in the laboratory to include immunoassay, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, tandem mass spectrometry, physical and chemical separation techniques and organic chemical synthesis; Performing multiple technical laboratory functions such as: interpreting drug screening results; initiating corrective action for all identified discrepancies, maintaining analytical laboratory instrumentation and providing staff laboratory training; Certifying test results in accordance with the organization’s scientific and forensic requirements; AND Advising senior organizational officials and staff regarding complex laboratory technical functions and Quality Assurance Programs.
